GUIDORA by MedicAlert: Frequently Asked Questions

Guidora by MedicAlert is a health navigation service that offers expert support to help you and your family get the care you need—when you need it, as often as you need it. It’s the same trusted service as MedicAlert’s HealthNavigator, now available to everyone, with or without a MedicAlert subscription.

Registering with MedicAlert gives you a MedicAlert ID number which is needed to make a purchase from MedicAlert. After purchasing Guidora from MedicAlert, you’ll need to set up your service. When you call the Guidora number to set up your Guidora service, you’ll need to provide your name, email, and that MedicAlert ID so our team can appropriately identify you and personalize your support. Once you’ve set up your Guidora service, you can start using it right away – as often and whenever you need.

After purchasing your Guidora subscription through your MedicAlert account, you’ll receive an email with the phone number to reach a Guidora Health Navigator. Health Navigators are available Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM ET—and you can call as often as you like. Your MedicAlert ID number will be included in every email we send, to assist you with the identification process on each call.
